Heavy Duty non-woven weedmat stops sunlight getting to the ground but still allows water and air to transfer normally. Weedmat needs a layer of mulch or pebble to hold it down and keep the sunlight off it for best results. This product is also used in a double layer over drains before topsoil or garden mix are layered over the drainage metal.
